Eugene Youth Ballet (EYB) is the pre-professional performing track of the Academy. EYB offers aspiring young students with performing opportunities that develop self-confidence and an appreciation for the art while providing educational programs and exposure for our local community and beyond. In 2012, EYB founded the annual Northwest Dance Festival, a collaboration with other regional youth dance companies to provide ongoing performing and educational opportunities.
Awarded a prestigious Oregon Arts Commission Award for service to the community, EYB has been recognized as an exceptional youth arts program. EYB exposes, educates and entertains audiences with a focus on underserved populations and outlying areas. Eugene Ballet Academy and EYB are committed to providing financial support through scholarships and give back to the community through free public performances at nursing and retirement homes, libraries, public and private schools and community events.
